Our Story

Andersen in Namibia began in 2015 as Windhoek Advisory and Taxation, founded with a simple premise: Namibian businesses deserved the same quality of tax and advisory services available in larger markets. What started as a small practice focused on tax compliance and bookkeeping grew steadily into a comprehensive professional services firm serving over 5,600 businesses across Namibia and the SADC region.

The firm's growth was driven by a commitment to understanding the specific needs of the Namibian market. While international firms would fly advisers in for short engagements, we built a permanent, locally rooted practice staffed by professionals who understood Namibian tax law, government processes, and business culture.

As the practice expanded into business advisory, management advisory, and corporate services, it became clear that our clients needed more than local expertise. They needed global reach.

In 2021, we entered into a collaboration agreement with Andersen Global, beginning a structured integration process. On 1 January 2026, that process was completed. Windhoek Advisory and Taxation became a full member firm of Andersen Global, operating as Andersen in Namibia.

Today, our clients have access to the global reach of the member and collaborating firms of Andersen Global, while retaining the same local team, local knowledge, and personal relationships they have always valued. The name has changed. The commitment has not.
