Can you work in Namibia on a visitor visa?

No, a visitor to Namibia may not work, paid or unpaid, and even a few days of work on site needs a work visa or an employment permit. The Immigration Control Act 7 of 1993 treats working on a visitor visa as an offence for the visitor and as a separate offence for anyone who employs them.

How do you get dividends and profits out of Namibia?

A foreign shareholder takes a dividend out of Namibia through an authorised dealer, which is a commercial bank, after the Namibian company withholds non resident shareholders' tax of 10% or 20%, which it pays to NamRA by the 20th of the following month. The Bank of Namibia's manual allows the transfer when it is in proportion to the shareholder's share of the company.
