    FAQ

    Common Questions

What is the corporate income tax rate in Namibia?

The standard corporate income tax rate for non-mining companies in Namibia is 30%. Registered manufacturers are taxed at 18% on approved manufacturing income for their first ten years of registration, an incentive that is being phased out. Mining companies are taxed at higher rates. A further reduction of the standard rate to 28% has been announced and will apply once enacted.

Does Namibia have transfer pricing rules?

Yes. Namibia's Income Tax Act includes transfer pricing provisions requiring arm's length transactions. NamRA has been increasing enforcement.
